Synchronize! Pro is a way of automatically keeping the documents on more than one file server current and up-to-date. It copies only the files that have been changed, at a user-configurable rate, so that the effect on file server performance can be minimized.

窶｢ Do you work on more than one Mac?

If so, Synchronize! Pro is a way of automatically keeping your documents current on each of the Macs. It eliminates the task of comparing the time and date a document was modifed in order to keep your work organized when using multiple folders.

窶｢ Do you use a removable disk for backup?

Using a removable-cartridge hard disk, an optical disk, a floptical disk, or even one or two floppy disks is a simple way to back up your important files every day.

Synchronize! Pro will copy only the files you窶况e changed so that your backup is quick and painless.

窶｢ Do you need to periodically move old files to a floppy disk, or delete them?

Synchronize! Pro will move a subset of files from a folder (and all of its sub-folders) to a special folder you create. The special folder can be on a floppy disk, where you can save them. Or they can be moved to a special folder on your hard disk, where you can review the files and trash the ones you don't need.

As an example, all files older than a particular date can be moved to a particular folder, allowing them to be selectively thrown in the Trash. Any files which are not thrown away may be moved back with the same Synchronize! Pro setup, by setting it to move files in the opposite direction.
